| 'Daddy's Girl' a sweet BCT treat at Bowie Playhouse
Published 01/28/10
Bowie Community Theatre is presenting a show that director Joe Del Balzo called "magic" when he first read it. The show is "Daddy's Girl," and it tells the story of man named Benard who continues to run the diner he and his wife, Maudie, owned and operated for years. The entire play takes place in Maudie's Diner in Kansas City, late in the evening on the 25th anniversary of Maudie's death, and a few days thereafter. Benard receives some heavenly visits during the course of the show, that may lead to the reunion of father and daughter he and Maudie gave up for adoption so many years... This story has expired!
