Teacher of the month

Rockledge Elementary School second-grade teacher Rena Shylanski has been selected as the October Teacher of the Month. According to Heidi Clifton, another teacher at Rockledge who received this honor in 2007, "Her commitment to teaching is unrivaled."

One of the things people notice about her is her "calming demeanor and undying patience."
