City police involved in three accidents in five days

Bowie city police were involved in three separate accidents over a five-day span that resulted in minor injuries to two officers.

Oct. 13 at 7:45 p.m., two officers were on routine patrol in the area of Mitchellville and Excalibur roads when they were struck by a 2001 Kia operated by Saidu Jabbie, 42, from Greenbelt. Officers Harry Booth and Martin Rodriguez were transported to Prince George's Hospital to be checked for minor injuries.
