1. I have enjoyed a wonderful quality of life in Bowie, and our children and grandchildren deserve the same opportunities I had growing up in Bowie. That is why I continue to mentor our disadvantaged children and teens, showing them how they can set and obtain goals to achieve a better life. That is why I am involved in Boy and Girl Scouting programs, to acknowledge their hard-earned achievement.
