Forum elicits concerns to possible school boundary changes

Boundary changes - those two words immediately strike a chord of concern and anxiety among parents.

Approximately 125 people, including the mayor and City Council, County Councilwoman Ingrid Turner, Delegate Gerron Levi and state Sen. Douglas Peters, attended a comprehensive boundary review forum Tuesday night at Bowie High School, presented by the Prince George's County Board of Education.

Parents were pleased that school officials were actually hearing parent input before any decisions were made, or proposals are even put in place for the next school year.
