| Bulldogs wrestle trophy from county

The Blade-News received a phone call Wednesday from Bowie High School wrestling coach Pete Ward, who just learned that the Bulldogs will be awarded a long overdue trophy for earning county co-champion honors during the winter season. The Bulldogs were part of a three-way tie with Eleanor Roosevelt and Parkdale high schools and, according to Ward, county athletics director Earl Hawkins decided that a coin flip was the best way to decide a county champion.
