PMSL Week 3 sought 'independence' for all

The midway point of the Prince-Mont Swim League season is here and Week 3 action lived up to the pomp and circumstance of later that night - July Fourth fireworks.

While the six Bowie pools went 3-3 over the weekend, several of the scores were within an event or two of resulting in another way.

Belair Bath and Tennis defeated the MVP Dolphins, 300-279; Whitehall Pool and Tennis defeated Silver Spring, 291-264; and Marlton defeated Northridge, 289-286.

Severn Crossing moved its record to 3-0 with a 330-185 win over Accokeek; Belair Swim and Racquet dropped its first meet, 313-263, against Westlake Village; and Russett...
