Shredding/recycling

The city will hold a free shredding and electronics recycling event Saturday, July 18, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Bowie High School parking lot for noncommercial vehicles only. Residents may observe their documents, up to 550 pounds, being shredded.

Electronics accepted for disposal include: CD players, computers, keyboards, monitors, laptops, computer speakers; copiers, fax machines, pagers, scanners, surge protectors, telephones, televisions, VCRs and wires.
