Bowie Baysox standout pitcher Brian Matusz is used to the spotlight. After all, he's been in it for a while now. No, he did not attend a college synonymous with historic athletic achievements, but while playing for the Toreros of the University of San Diego, the southpaw displayed more than enough skill to garner attention from major-league scouts nationwide. It seemed the more he pitched the better he got. The better he got the more people daydreamed that Matusz would one day join their team.
