Out of Bounds: It was around 1983 ... something evil lurked in the dark

As I've mentioned before, I grew up in Carleton East apartments in Seabrook. One of my downstairs neighbors - I think his name was Clyde - was the most popular person in the neighborhood on this particular day because he had a copy of the coolest new music video: Thriller.

Now I cannot remember if the song already had life on the radio or how we even knew we must see the video, but we knew we had to see this video.

About six of us, all about 8 years old, piled onto Clyde's father's bed to watch Thriller on either Beta or Laser Disc. Perhaps nobody knew the video was mildly inappropriate for kids...
