In an effort to join the 21st century, the Blade-News will kick off its first blog, Left Field, written by yours truly.

The blog will appear at www.hometownbowie.com and will mainly focus on Bowie sports. Readers who know me are aware that I will take every opportunity to speak out on some unrelated topic at some point.
