For each of the past nine winters, The Arc of Prince George's County has considered the Bowling Bash its main fund raiser and 2009 is no different.

The 10th annual Bowling Bash to benefit the Sarah Petit Fund will take place Sunday and March 8 at AMF Bowie beginning at 12:30 p.m.

Sarah was a member of The Arc before she passed away in 2002 at age 28. She suffered from developmental disabilities, but enjoyed bowling immensely, according to her parents, Betsey and Pat Petit, and the Bowling Bash seemed like the perfect way to pay tribute to the daughter that brought them so much joy.
