The National Wildlife Federation has announced that All Saints Lutheran Church of Bowie has been named the first place of worship for certified wildlife.

Now that may sound a bit odd, but it truly is an honor.

All Saints Lutheran is recognized as an official "Certified Wildlife Habitat" site. The property attracts a variety of birds, butterflies and other wildlife, while helping to protect the local environment.
