| All Saints Lutheran first local church to be honored by National Wildlife Federation

The National Wildlife Federation has announced that All Saints Lutheran Church of Bowie has been named the first place of worship for certified wildlife. Now that may sound a bit odd, but it truly is an honor. All Saints Lutheran is recognized as an official "Certified Wildlife Habitat" site. The property attracts a variety of birds, butterflies and other wildlife, while helping to protect the local environment. With the help of the NWF, many habitat enthusiasts have turned their yards and other garden spaces into enticing wildlife refuges.
