City gets legacy grant

The city has learned that it's receiving a $30,000 community legacy award to study the feasibility of constructing a trail that would link Old Bowie to Bowie State University and the MARC train station.

Gov. Robert Ehrlich Jr. is presenting this and 13 other program awards today to 14 municipalities/organizations in Montgomery and Prince George's counties in a formal ceremony at the Kingdom Square Shopping Center in Capitol Heights.
