A former physical education teacher from Harford County pleaded guilty Jan. 27 to one count of sexual solicitation of a minor involving a 14-year-old boy from Bowie. He also pleaded guilty to three counts of third-degree sex offense involving another 14-year-old boy.

Harford County Circuit Court Judge William O. Carr sentenced Jonathan Dick to 40 years in the Department of Corrections with all but eight years suspended. Upon his release, Dick will be on supervised probation for five years and be required to register as a sex offender for life.
