| Disability community 'stunned' by $21.7M cuts

Just when the developmental disabilities community thought the state couldn't cut resources any more. The Arc of Prince George's County is a nonprofit organization that provides services to a large number of those living with developmental disabilities in Bowie, Mitchellville and Glenn Dale. The Arc has gotten used to working with a tight budget. Even in a thriving economy, its clients' needs grew as state funding shrank.
