Summer is a time for picnics and barbecues and hanging out at friends' houses.

For a group of Bowie High School students, an end-of-the-year picnic for them was one they won't soon forget.

They got to chow down on burgers with President Barack Obama at the White House.

Unfortunately, no one was allowed to be photographed with the president or vice president, but one student was allowed to take a photo during Obama's speech. (See photos, Page A2.)
