Reading Recovery gone?

I am sure you are aware that on Friday afternoon, June 19, (the last day of school) an emergency meeting took place of all Reading Recovery teachers. At that time, these incredible teachers were informed that Bowie schools will no longer receive Reading Recovery services.

Each year, a Reading Recovery specialist services between 16-20 first-graders with one-on-one research-based teaching.
