Speeding enforcement I can't believe we are allowing drivers to exceed local speed limits on Main Street and Route 197 in Bowie by a whopping 40 percent or 12 miles per hour over the posted speed limits before citing them for speeding. What kind of message does this send to our new young drivers? I think everyone knows there is already speeding on most roads in Bowie and not much in the way of enforcement. I personally have driven around Bowie at the posted limits and have been chastised by other drivers with horn blowing, flashing lights, the single finger salute, and being passed because I was driving the posted...
